This is the company that stepped up and offered to sponsor our shipping to Soles4Souls. You've seen their
big semi trucks on the road, I'm sure. What an awesome blessing to have a company so well known and so well connected to the
world want to help our charitable cause.

Our Heros at Conway Shipping
Thomas R. Tappe: National Account Executive - Con-Way is the person responsible for agreeing to donate transportation
services.
Neil Ebner: We had the good fortune to meet Neil when we dropped off 32 large boxes of shoes. Neil (the
terminal manager for Con-Way Shipping), made us feel right at home as he told us how happy they were to sponsor the shipment
to Soles4Souls. He treated us to a tour of the facility. It was amazing!! What a tight operation. Over 1 million pounds of
cargo passes their dock every day. Con-Way shipping is a large company with several locations that serves the entire US, Mexico
and Canada. The Warren location (where Neil works) has 55 trucks and about 120 employees. It was so much fun to see their
high-lows loading and unloading everything from hazardous materials to xerox paper, to used shoes for the homeless.
Greg:
Greg greeted us at the dock and proceeded to shrink wrap our palettes of shoes. He literally did this by hand (round and round)
until we were dizzy just watching him. Then, he lifted the palettes to the loading dock to be weighed and assigned to a truck
for shipment to Alabama.

70x7 OUTREACH
70x7: This is a outreach that I've been involved with (under the leadership of Donna McCauley) for several years now. The
outreach, under the official umbrella of "Abide Ministries", is primarily for addicts and prostitutes on the streets
in Detroit. We offer lunch, hygeine products, hope and prayer to the people that we meet. We served in the Brightmoor area
for many years and saw a remarkable transformation in the people out there. God was on the move in that area. Though a couple
of the girls we knew were killed, many of them went through rehab and got off the streets.
Because many have expressed a desire to know more, I have created a blog with our journals. Click on this link and enjoy!!

Going out on the street might not be your cup of tea, but maybe you would like to donate items you have collected from your
travels, or extras that you have at home.
Thank you, in advance, for sharing your hearts with those less fortunate.

We're a store that believes in supporting oppressed women and their children from all parts of the world. Did you know
that we also carry:
MINGA
JEWELRY: From
Peru. This Fair Trade Company gives the women of Peru and Ecuador an alternative to factory work by giving them the option
to work at home. Thus, allowing them to be with their children, (while they work to support them), as well as paying them
a fair price for their work.
OOVOO HANDBAGS: From Vietnam. The bags are 100% hand-embroidered
and carefully crafted. No embroidery machines are involved in making these bags, and therefore no two bags are ever the same.
The manufacturing locations have been carefully chosen to ensure provision of workers rights in accordance with trade regulations.
These beautiful bags are made by people who are well-treated in their work environment. Read more about this company and it's
